New Song: Rollin’ in Issaquah

Posted: September 30, 2011 in Uncategorized

Well here is my first original song fit for public consumption!  (No, the Swine Flu Song doesn’t count).  I wrote this because Charles, my guitar teacher, stopped teaching where I live and forced me to drive to his nice wholesome town of Issaquah for lessons.  I like Issaquah but I still reserve the right to make fun of it.  I make fun of myself in the song too so that makes it okay.

To quote Charles, “This proves you can write a song about anything.”

On a more functional note, this song also represents my initial foray into composing with vocal harmonies.  Yay for learning!

Start Again!

I finally got around to finishing my cover of Billy Idol’s White Wedding.   I don’t sound quite as evil as Billy Idol, but I’m still pretty happy with it.  I did it just to prove to myself I could do it, like running a marathon.  But the next time I post a song, it’ll be an original!  In the meantime, you can hear the song here:

It and all my other music is also on my Music page

Aw yeah!

The new site is finally up!  It’s a major improvement over the last one, which was a Word document converted to HTML.
